Completed Novels

As previously mentioned, I have always liked to write, and I base my writing on my adventures in the Navy, my experiences working as a female technician in the power industry, the fun and adventure of living and working in Alaska, my experiences as an engineer, and my difficulties dealing with multiple sclerosis and my medical discharge from the military.  Women are really under represented in engineering, so it is not a surprise that you don’t see many women being written about credibly as scientists, technicians, engineers, or mathematicians.  If you do, they are often stereotypes or flat characters of what people think we do.  A lot of what I do as a STEM ambassador is show the various career paths as an engineer for young people to help them see that how the media often portrays STEM is misleading.  I use my writing as an aid to show what diverse careers are available in STEM.
