A Historic Gothic Horror/Erotica, set in the Yukon in 1898

According to an unofficial census conducted by the Royal Canadian Mounties in the summer of 1898, over 40000 people were living in the Yukon Gold-Rush city of Dawson. Only about 16,000 decided to tough out the winter in the “Paris of the North. Of these, about 500-700 were women. Many of these women were “Ladies of the Night,” even though prostitution was technically illegal in the Yukon territory. They had many names and euphemisms for their “work”

Prostitutes, Dance-hall Queens, Cigar Shop owners, even “Seamstresses”

According to books and records, these ladies were VERY effective at mining the miners. A great read, by the way:
